Twelve 'Quick Start' Funding Reports
Available for $25/ea.
($240 for the complete set)
To be successful, a nonprofit needs to integrate the four 'pistons' of its funding 'engine' (grantsmanship, corporate sponsorships, fundraising, and planned gifts). Using a single-engine 'aircraft' analogy: to really take off, you need all four funding pistons operating. You can't maintain altitude on only two. You'll likely crash with only one.
Near the end of each Ways-And-Means Opportunities (WAMO) Workshop that I conduct, I have a short Question-and-Answer period, and I always get the same question: "Of all the action steps we've discussed, which single step should we start with to get us the most immediate results?"
That question seques neatly into the final section of the course where I distribute twelve "Quick Start" reports to each participant organization (these twelve reports each describe a funding action step that I consider to be critical to the operation of any nonprofit, tax-exempt organization). Then I point out that each organization, with its unique level of evolution and funding sophistication, can be answered differently.
How these twelve Quick Starts are prioritized for you specifically is based upon the condition (and sometimes the very existence or nonexistence) of those four 'funding engines' in your nonprofit organization. Some of your engines are jet powered, some are piston engine powered, some are wind-up rubber band powered, and some are completely nonexistent.
I, therefore, provide these reports for $25 each via this Web site for non-graduates of the WAMO courses. Here are the subjects of the reports:
- Attaining, Maintaining, and Utilizing Tax-Exempt Status: 501 (C) (3) Is a Magic Number
